HOW TO EMAIL ABOUT A COMMISSIONa dm is okay! but if you prefer emailing, these are just some things to put in the first email to me so things go smoothly...
- send the email to [email protected]
- subject the email "COMMISSION", "COMMISSION QUESTION", etc.
- add in the body of your email, your invoicable email; i'll be sending the invoice to this email if i accept the commission and the invoice will be sent through paypal.please tell me the type of commission:
- regular, sketch, chibi...etc.
- full colour, flat colour, black and white... etc.next, provide references and details about the commission:
- character reference(s) (please try to choose references that are easy to make out the details/design)
- clothing references as applicable (if you want a different outfit than in the character reference)
- posing description/visual reference
- description of expression, etc... and any other details you might want!finally... relax and wait for my reply! worst comes to worst, i may have to decline your commission request... OR waitlist you. i'll let you know in a reply! or, you can dm for my availability before sending the email!if you're unsure about the price, i can email you back before sending the invoice, but i'll usually reply to notify that the invoice is sent and summarize what you're paying for... (eg. extra charge for complicated designs, commercial use fee... etc.)

NOTE:
- if the piece is to be used commercially, the price of the piece is doubled and the art may be used in content such as video thumbnails, livestreaming, etc. Please contact me if the piece is going to be used for a bigger project (game, physically printed as merchandise, etc.)
- the prices listed may change without warning due to influx of offers, my schedule, etc.. if i find i'm lacking work, i'll promote specially priced commissions on social media (this may be rare).
- the commission may take from a day up to several weeks depending on my schedule and the difficulty of the piece, as well as my own health (as a freelance artist who mostly draws as a hobby). if needed, please feel free to bring up deadlines and i will try to work towards them! PLEASE UNDERSTAND I HAVE OTHER COMMITMENTS AS WELL! THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING!
- the drawing must be paid in completion through paypal invoice before i start the sketch

- i will ask if everything is okay before i start any next stage of the drawing (sketch to colouring...). AFTER I START COLOURING, I WILL NO LONGER REFUND ANY CANCELLATIONS. i will not start/continue until i get the OK from the commissioner! small changes can still be made at the end if there is a mistake or issue but major changes may be too difficult.

FAQ
WHY ARE PRICES SO HIGH?
At the current time, I am a full-time post-secondary student and my only source of income is from being a freelance artist. I charge by an estimate of how long it will take me to finish the piece at minimum wage (though even that might be a stretch, considering how long some pieces may take). I understand not everyone can afford my prices, but I'm willing to work out a more affordable price with you. I’m not lowering my prices, but we may find a more affordable option that still suits you! If I feel like I need more work, I'll announce a sale or special prices VIA my social media.THE STYLE I WANT ISN'T LISTED/I DON'T KNOW WHAT STYLE THIS IS CALLED....

IF THE PROJECT IS FREE/NON-PROFIT (eg. visual novel made for fun and practice as a personal project or is made available online for free),
all prices are regular. In the case of sprites for a game, etc., I will only charge a couple extra dollars per expression on a character. For different clothes, I will charge a smaller fraction of the original price. No, all pieces are digital, but the customer can ask to get the PNG emailed to them.DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?
Yes, partial refunds are offered, but only before the colouring phase starts. During the sketch phase, Will offer up to 75% refund depending on how much far I've gotten with the sketch. After the sketch phase, I won't start the colouring phase until I reach out to the customer to get an OK.CAN YOU DO SPEED ORDERS?
Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: all commissions will take from a few hours to perhaps several weeks, depending on my schedule and the piece difficulty. Please contact me if there is a deadline you would like to set so I can check it is possible for me. Usually I will do it without the extra charge, but it really depends on my schedule. The minimum amount of time needed is 24 hours from when the payment of the invoice. There may be an extra charge on the piece depending on the time of deadline and complexity of the piece(s).CAN I USE YOUR ART AS A HEADER/ICON/PERSONAL USE?/CAN I POST THE COMMISSION?
Yes. If you can credit me in your bio, etc. then feel free to use the commissioned piece as part of your layout. You can also repost the piece as long as there is credit and you aren't claiming to be the artist. Also, feel free to use a piece you paid for in an edit or your own personal creative project.WILL YOU POST THE COMMISSION?
Yes and no. I will always ask before using your commission as an example for my future commissioners or posting your commission publicly (I will usually ask at the end, once the finished product is sent to you and you are satisfied with the finished product). I typically do not post commissions of original characters on my social media pages, but may occasionally ask to use it as an example (such as on the pages on this site). If your order was fanart, I may ask if it is OK to post the result. Of course, it is always okay to decline.CAN YOU DRAW A REFERENCE PAGE FOR MY OCS?
For OCs, I can draw reference pages as long as there are sufficient references in existence already. This doesn't necessarily mean a full drawn piece of your OC, though that would be easiest. We can work together and "frankenstein" references (such as IRL photos of clothes, piccrew images, parts of other existing characters) together until it looks right. Depending on how detailed your current references are, I may have to charge extra for communication.
Please remember I am not a designer, I simply draw what I am asked to draw.
ABOUT PRICING
Prices are based off of number of hours it takes me to finish the work at minimum wage.
I will sometimes (rarely) promote discounted commissions on social media.Extra fees are sometimes charged, here is a quick and simplified look at how extra charges are calculated (please be aware that these prices change depending on situation!).
The range is proportional to the commission's base price.complex design:
